I need to interrupt our “trip down memory lane” for some breaking news–and it isn’t good: 

Canadian researchers found that vitamin E, selenium and soy, taken daily for three years, provided no benefit for men who were at high risk for developing prostate cancer.

I can’t say this is a surprise, since vitamin E and selenium have already been debunked as a prostate cancer preventative.  But that doesn’t mean it isn’t disappointing to hear results like this.

Feel good, keep smiling and look at the bright side:  Now you can afford to buy lots more farm fresh fruits and vegetables with the money you save by dumping these supplements!  Pat
