February 1st I shared an in-depth article about the benefits of vitamin D for cancer patients, called Advice About Vitamin D For Cancer Survivors.

Vitamin D is the “it” vitamin lately.  It used to be vitamin C, then E, remember?  That is until a number of large, credible studies began to surface questioning the benefits of loading up on these vitamins in an attempt to prevent or slow cancer.

Could the same be said for vitamin D?  Here is a new study which question’s D’s value as a cancer fighter:

Limited evidence of benefits of vitamin D supplementation

This article is from the industry publication, the Journal of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (JAAPA).

Not only could the researchers who composed the article not find any credible links to the value of vitamin D in fighting cancer, no real link between D and bone health was established, either.

More about this tomorrow.  Feel good and keep smiling!  Pat
